Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of nltlabs.ai and its subdomains (the "Site"), operated by New Logic Tech Labs LLC ("NLT Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), a Nevada limited liability company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site. Questions are welcome at hello@nltlabs.ai.

1. What the Site is (and isn't)

The Site describes NLT Labs' consulting services, products in development, and the thinking behind them. Content on the Site is general information, not professional advice for your specific situation. Reading it doesn't create a consulting, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and NLT Labs.

2. Consulting engagements

Consulting work is governed by a separate written agreement (an engagement letter or statement of work) signed by both parties. If anything on the Site conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins. Booking a discovery call through the Site doesn't obligate either party to anything beyond that conversation.

3. Results described on this Site

Case studies and results labeled "prior executive role" describe work Bill Thornton performed as an employee or executive of prior companies, not as NLT Labs, and are anonymized where needed. Results labeled "NLT Labs" describe our own internal builds. All of them are specific to their circumstances. They're shared as experience and are not a promise, projection, or guarantee of comparable outcomes for any client.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content (text, design, logos, and graphics) belong to NLT Labs or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, link to, and quote the Site with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, use our name or logo to imply endorsement, or use Site content to train commercial machine-learning systems without our written permission.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Site. That means no attempts to breach its security, probe or scan its infrastructure, scrape it at disruptive volume, impersonate NLT Labs, or use it for anything unlawful.

6. Third-party services and links

The Site links to third-party services we use (for example, Cal.com for scheduling and LinkedIn for professional references) and to external sites. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control. Using them is between you and them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, NLT Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NLT Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). This section doesn't limit liability that can't be limited under applicable law, and it doesn't apply to signed consulting agreements, which set their own terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
